Please note that there might be engineering works at weekends on rail services that may affect your journey times. Please check nearer to travel date.

Outings may be cancelled due to bad weather. We will try to inform everybody of any change in plans, but if in doubt, please check with either:

The South London Photographic Society (known affectionately as SLPS) was founded in 1889, and is one of the oldest photographic societies in the Country. But don't be put off by our grand name - 'photographic society' is just a posh name for camera club.

We are a small, friendly group of amateur photographers who meet together regularly on an informal basis.

We cover the full range of levels – from beginner to expert. And the whole age range, from teenager to Senior citizen.

We have members who shoot predominantly colour slides, some who specialise in black and white photography, and many who follow the digital trail. Whatever your interest, you will find an outlet for your creative talent. We offer free digital imaging tuition on a one to one basis, so if you are having trouble, or would just like to know more, we are here to help

We meet every Monday evening, from September through till July in the Baptist Church hall on Perry Rise, Sydenham, South London. Our programme includes talks, lectures, demonstrations, visits, competitions and practical evenings. The hall has easy disabled access via a ramp. There are also tea and coffee making facilities and toilets.

Please have a look through our website. Whether your are just starting out in photography, returning to it after a break, or a serious practitioner looking to refine your technique, we would be delighted to see you at one of our meetings.

FIRST YEAR MEMBERSHIP FEE JUST £40..
