WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE

Tonight we have our DPI challenge – A fun evening when two teams show their images 'head to head'
As always, new members are very welcome.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO MEETING ON MONDAY 5th JANUARY.
See Diary page for further details of forthcoming events.
The South London Photographic Society (known affectionately as SLPS) was founded in 1889, and is one of the oldest photographic societies in the Country. But don't be put off by our grand name - 'photographic society' is just a posh name for camera club.
We are a small, friendly group of amateur photographers who meet together regularly on an informal basis.
We cover the full range of levels – from beginner to expert. And the whole age range, from teenager to Senior citizen.
Most of our members now shoot digital, producing images in both colour and black and white. A number also use colour slides. Whatever your interest, you will find an outlet for your creative talent. We offer free digital imaging tuition on a one to one basis, so if you are having trouble, or would just like to know more, we are here to help
We meet every Monday evening, from September through till July in the Baptist Church hall on Perry Rise, Sydenham, South London (close to Forest Hill). Our programme includes talks, lectures, demonstrations, visits, competitions and practical evenings. The hall has easy disabled access via a ramp. There are also tea and coffee making facilities and toilets.
Please have a look through our website. Whether your are just starting out in photography, returning to it after a break, or a serious practitioner looking to refine your technique, we would be delighted to see you at one of our meetings.
FIRST YEAR MEMBERSHIP FEE JUST £40..
