FOCUS SOUTH
This is a copy of the latest e-mail sent to all members at regular intervals.
Thanks to all those members who turned up to a most successful AGM last Monday and expressed their views on how the society should proceed in the coming year. We unfortunately ran out of time on the night but please do not stop letting me and the rest of the committee have your suggestions for improvements and queries. The minutes should be circulated to members in the next couple of weeks.
PDI competition - Round 1: 8th March 2010.
Please remember that entries for the first round of the projected digital image (PDI) competition should be handed in either next Monday on a memory stick or sent to me via email by midnight on Wednesday 3rd March. As agreed at our recent AGM you can enter up to 4 images and there will be separate Improvers & Advanced sections. This is based on your group in the print competitions. I attach a revised copy of the DPI entry procedure giving further details.
Prints exhibited at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be returned next Monday (1st March) so can members remember to bring their print folders or other means to take them home in.
Federation Finals Day – Entries Requested.
This is your last chance this season to enter your best prints or PDIs and a chance to win a trophy! You can enter up to TWO in each of monochrome prints, colour prints and PDIs open competitions. There is an entry fee of £1 only per item. You must bring your prints and appropriate fee to the club next Monday. All entries will be on display at the Finals Day event on 24th April. So why not give it a chance?
